Skills & Plugins by Parikshit Pruthi

A growing collection of reusable Anthropic Skills and Claude Code plugins I use across Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and Claude.ai. Each one captures a workflow I run repeatedly so I don’t reinvent it every time.

Skills

Skill What it does When to use it
blueprint Turns a coding plan into a single visual, reviewable HTML blueprint — hero summary, file-by-file change blocks, risks — so the plan can be scanned and approved before any code is written. Planning a feature, refactor, or bugfix; after entering plan mode; when a markdown plan is too long to scan.
as-built After a change ships, verifies it against the original plan in a visual HTML report — what was promised vs what actually shipped, what deviated, what’s missing. Recapping a build, confirming planned-vs-built, catching scope drift after a feature lands.
market-gap-research Mines X, Reddit, and review sites via Apify to surface product gaps and unmet feature requests, then ships an Instagram carousel / LinkedIn post / research report. Competitor research, finding SaaS wedges, complaint mining, “what do users wish X did?”
handoff Captures everything in the current session into one self-contained note so a brand-new session can pick up exactly where this one left off — no context lost. Wrapping up a session, before /clear, switching machines, or parking work to continue later.
test-driven-build Writes the whole test suite first, walks an edge-case taxonomy, then stops at a coverage gate to confirm every edge case is covered before a single line of implementation is allowed. Building a feature, bugfix, or behavior change where you want the tests — and proof they cover the edge cases — locked in before any code.
vertical-lead-pipeline Builds a signal-ranked B2B lead list for any vertical from an ICP doc: scrapes G2/Capterra via Apify, qualifies against the ICP, enriches via LinkedIn, collects hiring/news/posts signals, and exports one ranked review sheet. Shows cost up front and stops for approval. Building or refreshing a target-account list for a new vertical, replacing a Clay-style enrichment workflow.

Plugins

Plugin What it does Provides
smart-dumb-zone Status line that shows 🧠 SMART ZONE while context is under 120k input tokens and flips to 🥴 DUMB ZONE past 120k, so you know when to /compact. statusline
stack-optimizer Adds /optimize-stack — audits your installed MCP servers, skills, and plugins and recommends what to add, remove, or tune (including context-budget savings). /optimize-stack slash command

More coming.

Repo conventions

Skills — skills//

skills//
├── SKILL.md # Required. YAML frontmatter (name, description) + body.
├── references/ # Optional. Cheatsheets, templates, deep-dives the SKILL.md links to.
└── examples/ # Optional. Real outputs from running the skill — useful as test fixtures.
  • SKILL.md is the contract. Frontmatter has name and description. The description is “Use when…” — triggering conditions only, no workflow summary (Claude reads it to decide whether to load the skill).
  • references/ is for reusable artifacts the SKILL.md points to.
  • examples/ is for proof — a real run, committed verbatim.
  • Skill names are kebab-case and must match the folder name.
  • One skill per folder under skills/.

Plugins — plugins//

plugins//
├── .claude-plugin/plugin.json # Required. name, description, version, author.
├── commands/ # Optional. Slash commands (*.md).
├── skills/ # Optional. Skills bundled with the plugin.
├── statusline/ | hooks/ | agents/ # Optional. Whatever the plugin provides.
└── README.md # Recommended.

All plugins are listed in .claude-plugin/marketplace.json so the repo doubles as an installable marketplace.

Installing

Skills (Claude Code)

# Clone once
git clone https://github.com/parikshit10/skills.git ~/parikshit-skills

# Symlink the skills you want into your Claude Code skills dir
ln -s ~/parikshit-skills/skills/market-gap-research ~/.claude/skills/market-gap-research

# blueprint + as-built are a pair — plan visually, then verify the build
ln -s ~/parikshit-skills/skills/blueprint ~/.claude/skills/blueprint
ln -s ~/parikshit-skills/skills/as-built ~/.claude/skills/as-built

Restart Claude Code. The skill shows up in your skills list and auto-triggers on matching prompts.

Plugins (Claude Code)

# Add this repo as a plugin marketplace, then install what you want
/plugin marketplace add parikshit10/skills
/plugin install smart-dumb-zone@parikshit-skills
/plugin install stack-optimizer@parikshit-skills

Note: the smart-dumb-zone status line must also be wired into your ~/.claude/settings.json statusLine block — Claude Code plugins can’t register the main status line themselves. See the plugin README for the one-liner.

Claude Desktop / Claude.ai

Skill folders can be uploaded as a project. Drag a skills/ folder into a Claude Project and the agent loads SKILL.md along with its references.

Contributing / using these yourself

These are personal skills and plugins tuned for my workflow, but most are general enough to fork. PRs welcome if you spot bugs in the workflow logic or want to add platforms / alternatives.

If you fork, swap out the voice/aesthetic notes in each skill (mine are tuned for @parikshitpruthi and @parikshitbuilds).
