In Settings → MCP (or by editing .cursor/mcp.json in your project for project-scoped servers). Paste the mcpServers block from the detail page, then enable the server in the MCP panel — Cursor shows a green indicator when the connection succeeds.
Can I use project-scoped and global MCP servers together?
Yes. Global servers live in your user settings and apply everywhere; project servers in .cursor/mcp.json apply only to that repository. Project configuration wins when both define the same server name.
