An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that lets AI agents create, edit, validate, and preview Microsoft Word report layouts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central through deterministic, typed tools — instead of free-hand OOXML editing, which is unreliable in a file format where a single misplaced element silently corrupts the document.

30 typed MCP tools over stdio: inspect any layout, validate it (structurally, and via a real dry-run merge), render an offline mock PDF preview the agent can look at, and author edits — fields, labels, repeater tables, nested detail rows, block repeaters, table structure, text and cell formatting, full lifecycle refresh. One uniform response envelope; nothing throws across the MCP boundary; every mutating edit is validated before it is saved and rejected outright if it would corrupt the file.

Install

The server reads and writes layout files with your own permissions, at paths the calling agent supplies — point it only at repositories and layouts you trust, as you would any local build tool.
