cmux skill

An agent skill for controlling the cmux native macOS terminal app from inside it.

It teaches an agent to drive cmux via the bundled cmux CLI and the Unix-socket JSON-RPC API (/tmp/cmux.sock): open/inspect/close workspaces, panes, and surfaces; read or capture pane output; send input and keys; delegate to and poll other agents; control browser surfaces; post sidebar notifications/status; and edit cmux settings.

macOS only (14.0+).

Install

Copy the cmux directory into your agent’s skills folder, e.g.:

cp -r cmux ~/.claude/skills/cmux
