Overextended Skills

Agent skills for building FiveM resources with the Overextended stack: ox_lib, ox_core, ox_inventory, ox_target, oxmysql, and general FiveM resource development.

Coding agents know Lua. They don’t know which ox_lib module replaces the boilerplate you were about to write, what exports.ox_inventory actually exposes, or which pattern a resource stopped supporting two versions ago. These skills give the agent that knowledge, checked against the resources’ source, so it writes code the way the people who built the stack would.

They work with Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, Gemini CLI, Cursor and any other agent that reads the Agent Skills format.

Installation

Pick one route per agent. Installing both the plugin and skills.sh gives you every skill twice.

Getting started

Run /setup-ox once in your server (or resource) folder. It does two things:

1. Models and budget. You pick a budget (unlimited, large, medium, small), and it maps each subagent role (exploring, checking APIs, implementing, reviewing, hard problems, and a panel of models for side-by-side work) to a model and reasoning level your agent actually offers. Saved to ~/.config/ox/models.md, for you only.
2. Project. It finds your server, reads which ox resources, versions and framework you run, and confirms them with you. Saved to .ox/config.md in the server, for everyone on the project.
