MCP 서버는 Claude 데스크톱과 같은 MCP 클라이언트를 통해 역동적으로 새로운 도구를 만듭니다.

특징

• Natural language에 대한 설명
• 클라이언트가 새로운 도구를 사용하도록 재시작 (Claude Desktop)
• 새로운 도구는 python scriptlets로 저장 …\mcp-tool-builder\tools
• 새로운 도구 정의는 …\mcp-tool-builder\tools\tools.json에서 저장됩니다.

설치에 포함된 예 도구

• get bitcoin price: CoinGecko의 현재 비트 코인 가격
• get weather forecast: 미국 우편 번호를 위한 날씨를 가져옵니다 (지구를 사용)

새 도구 만들기

Claude Desktop의 create tool 명령을 사용하여 새로운 도구를 동적으로 만들 수 있습니다.

설치

1. Clone 이 저장소
2. 의존성 설치:

Claude 데스크탑 사용

claude_desktop_config.json에 추가:

MCP Tool Builder

An MCP server that empowers LLMs to dynamically create new tools through MCP clients such as Claude Desktop.

Features

• Create new tools by describing them in natural language
  • Requires client restart to use new tools (Claude Desktop)
• New tools are saved as python scriptlets in …\mcp-tool-builder\tools
• New tool definitions are saved in …\mcp-tool-builder\tools\tools.json

Example tools included at installation

• get_bitcoin_price: Fetches current Bitcoin price from CoinGecko
• get_weather_forecast: Gets weather for US ZIP codes (uses geopy)

Creating New Tools

Use the create_tool command in Claude Desktop (or suggest strongly!!) to create new tools dynamically

Installation

1. Clone this repository
2. Install dependencies:

cd mcp-tool-builder
uv venv
.venv\Scripts\activate
uv pip install -e .
