WhatsApp-MCP는 Claude 같은 AI 비서가 WhatsApp 채팅을 읽고, 검색하며, 메시지를 보내줍니다. WhatsApp Web과 마찬가지로 연결된 기기로서 계정에 연결되며, 채팅의 검색 가능한 복사본을 보관합니다.

AI 앱이 도구와 연결하는 표준 방식인 MCP를 사용해 Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor 및 기타 MCP 클라이언트와 함께 작동합니다. 사용자의 Cloudflare 계정에서 실행되므로 메시지는 계속 유지됩니다.

설치가 완료되면 쉽게 요청하면 조수가 도구를 호출합니다:

시작해

Cloudflare 계정, GitHub 계정, 그리고 WhatsApp이 있는 휴대폰이 필요합니다.

1. 배치

위의 Cloudflare에 배포를 클릭하세요. Cloudflare는 이 프로젝트를 GitHub에 복사해 빌드한 뒤, https://whatsapp-mcp. .workers.dev 같은 주소로 온라인에 올립니다.

설정 중에 SECRET를 요구합니다. 이는 서버의 최소 16자 비밀번호입니다. 터미널에서 openssl rand -hex 32로 강력한 비밀번호를 생성하거나 비밀번호 관리자를 사용해 안전하게 보관하세요. 비밀번호를 가진 사람은 누구나 메시지를 읽고 보낼 수 있습니다.

2. WhatsApp 링크

whatsapp-mcp lets an AI assistant like Claude read your WhatsApp chats, search them and send messages for you. It connects to your account the same way WhatsApp Web does, as a linked device, and keeps a searchable copy of your chats.

It speaks MCP, the standard way AI apps connect to tools, so it works with Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients. It runs on your own Cloudflare account, so your messages stay with you.

Once it is set up, you ask in plain words and your assistant calls the tools for you:

Get started

You need a Cloudflare account, a GitHub account and your phone with WhatsApp.

1. Deploy

Click Deploy to Cloudflare above. Cloudflare copies this project to your GitHub, builds it and puts it online at an address like https://whatsapp-mcp..workers.dev.

During the setup it asks for a SECRET. That is the password of your server, at least 16 characters. Generate a strong one in a terminal with openssl rand -hex 32, or use a password manager, and keep it safe. Anyone who has it can read and send your messages.

2. Link your WhatsApp

Open this address in your browser and sign in with your SECRET:

Select Link WhatsApp. On your phone, open WhatsApp, go to Settings → Linked devices → Link a device and point the camera at the code. The page then counts your chats as they arrive.
