ContextQMD는 문서를 로컬로 유지하는 context7의 대안입니다. ContextQMD 레지스트리에서 doc 패키지를 다운로드하고, QMD (BM25 + 벡터 + LLM reranking)로 색인하고, Model Context Protocol을 통해 결과를 제공합니다.

흐름을 설치 번들 우선:

1. 라이브러리 카탈로그를 검색하고 라이브러리/버전을 선택하십시오.
2. fetch 표시
3. 다운로드 tar.gz 사용할 때 docs 번들
4. SHA256 체크섬을 확인하고 로컬 캐시로 포장
5. QMD를 가진 색인
6. 로컬 검색

호환 번들가 누락되면 서버가 page-index]로 돌아갑니다. 설치는 실패에 롤백과 원자입니다.

MCP server for local-first, version-aware library documentation. Install, search, and retrieve docs for any library directly from your AI coding assistant.

What it does

ContextQMD is an alternative to context7 that keeps documentation local. It downloads doc packages from the ContextQMD registry, indexes them with QMD (BM25 + vector + LLM reranking), and serves results through the Model Context Protocol.

Install flow is bundle-first:

1. search the library catalog and choose a library/version
2. fetch manifest
3. download a tar.gz docs bundle when available
4. verify SHA256 checksum and unpack into the local cache
5. index with QMD
6. search locally

If a compatible bundle is missing, the server falls back to page-index plus per-page fetches. Installs are atomic with rollback on failure.

Search Modes

search_docs supports four modes via the mode parameter:

• auto (default) — Smart routing based on query classification: short keyword queries use FTS, conceptual/how-to questions use vector, complex multi-aspect queries use hybrid.
