The Agent Plugins v1 mcp.json is used by Codex and portable clients. Claude Code and Cursor use their client-specific MCP registration files. Claude Code asks for the MCP endpoint URL during install; Codex and Cursor can use signoz-mcp-setup to initialize or repair it. The setup skill accepts a SigNoz Cloud region such as us, us2, eu, eu2, in, or in2, any hosted MCP URL, or a self-hosted HTTP /mcp endpoint.
