Two notes that save the most time, on Windows and macOS alike:

• Adding the marketplace by its full HTTPS URL avoids an SSH key a fresh machine does not have:

  The .git suffix matters.
• Windows works. Claude Code runs natively on Windows, and Git for Windows is optional.
