Overview

A Claude Code workspace that turns Claude into a Socratic tutor. Any subject — programming, maths, history, a language, music theory. Claude asks before it explains, refuses to hand you the answer until you've tried three times, and keeps notes between sessions in plain Markdown files you own. - — interviews you about your goal, level and time budget, then writes a dependency-ordered study plan. - — today's session: drills what's due for review, teaches one new concept, sets an exercise, logs the verdict. - — a short reference page per topic, written from what actually happened in your session: the example you worked, the mistake you made. /class writes one for every topic it teaches. - — shaky topics come back tomorrow, solid ones in 3 days, then double each time. - — everything Claude knows about you lives in learning/ /progress.md. Read it, edit it, delete it. See INSTALL.md. Short version: install Claude Code, clone this repo, run claude inside it. Answer the four questions.

ClaudeTeach

A Claude Code workspace that turns Claude into a Socratic tutor. Any subject — programming, maths, history, a language, music theory.

Claude asks before it explains, refuses to hand you the answer until you’ve tried three times, and keeps notes between sessions in plain Markdown files you own.

What you get

  • /roadmap — interviews you about your goal, level and time budget, then writes a dependency-ordered study plan.
  • /class — today’s session: drills what’s due for review, teaches one new concept, sets an exercise, logs the verdict.
  • /notes — a short reference page per topic, written from what actually happened in your session: the example you worked, the mistake you made. /class writes one for every topic it teaches.
  • Spaced review — shaky topics come back tomorrow, solid ones in 3 days, then double each time.
  • Memory that isn’t magic — everything Claude knows about you lives in learning//progress.md. Read it, edit it, delete it.

Install

See INSTALL.md. Short version: install Claude Code, clone this repo, run claude inside it.

Answer the four questions. Then, whenever you have 30 minutes:

> /class

Making it yours

CLAUDE.md is the tutor. Want fewer questions and more lecturing? Change “Three nudges, then explain” to two. Want a different verdict scale, a different file layout, a stricter cadence? Edit it. Claude follows that file, not this README.
