Open YB is a small tool that brings Tencent Yuanbao’s WeChat sharing links back to your computer and local automation processes.

Currently, the project retains only two main functions:

• extension/: Chrome extension. Open the Ingot Sharing page in Chrome on Windows / macOS, try to keep the original Ingot page, and also provide copy, favorite, and export Markdown options.
• skills/open-yb/: Local Agent Skill. Used for Codex, Claude Code, OpenClaw, or your own scripts, parsing ingot URLs into Markdown, JSON, or plain text.

This edition clarifies the main workflow of “handing WeChat ecosystem content over to Yuanbao for processing.”

• Added a shortcut button for the official account: When opening mp.weixin.qq.com/s/... articles, the top right corner of the page displays “Send to Yuanbao.”
• Click to copy: current official account article URL + configurable ingot extraction prompt.
• Added ingot prompt configuration: On the collection settings page, you can toggle the official account button on or off, or edit default prompts.
• LLM Organization Add Toggle: Off by default. When disabled, the right-click menu for “AI Organization After Collection” will not be displayed.
• Product boundary adjustment: WeChat ecosystem content like Official Accounts and Video Accounts will be prioritized for Yuanbao to handle; Local LLMs will only serve as optional enhancements for selected text organization.

This version adds right-click extraction and local LLM organization capabilities.

• New right-click menu: After selecting text, you can directly “save selected to Open YB”.
• Added AI right-click menu: After selecting text, you can “Organize and Save by AI” to call up your configured OpenAI-compatible model.
• New LLM settings: supports configuring Base URL, API Key, Model, and default organized prompts.
• New source filtering: The Favorites Library can distinguish between “Selected Excerpts” and “AI Excerpts.”
• Clearer tagging policy: regular webpages/selected excerpts are not automatically scanned #; only Yuanbao sharing and AI-organized results are extracted #标签.

This version adds lightweight webpage editing and archiving capabilities, similar to MarkDownload: no external plugins, clicking directly converts the current webpage into Markdown and saves it to the Open YB Collection.

• Added “Save current webpage as MD”: Click the plugin button on any webpage to trim the current page.
• Supports text selection priority: If there is selected text on the page, the selected part will be saved first; otherwise, the main text area will be extracted.
• Supports basic HTML conversion to Markdown: titles, paragraphs, links, images, lists, code blocks, references, and tables will be converted to Markdown as much as possible.
• New source filtering in the collection library: Content can be categorized by “ingot sharing / web clipping.”
• Continue to reuse automatic tags, date filtering, batch export, and merge export capabilities.
