oh-story

The web novel writing skill package covers the entire process of scanning, breaking down articles, writing, removing AI flavor, and cover images for both long and short web novels. Built-in adaptation includes Claude Code, OpenCode, TRAE Code, WorkBuddy / CodeBuddy Code, ZCode, OpenClaw, Codex CLI, and Reasonix; Web AI / Agent environments capable of reading project files can also be used along the general skills path.

Independent Repositories and Distribution Lines: This repository is oh-story’s active independent product repository and distribution line, not part of the GitHub Fork network, and does not automatically sync with any external repositories. Subsequent features, versions, Dev/Release channels, and commercialization are independently planned and maintained by this project. Early code evolved based on MIT open-source versions; Complete Git history is used to continuously record code sources and contribution attribution. See LICENSE for specific permissions.

This README only introduces the warehouse’s capabilities and case studies, without mixing in third-party demo projects. Self-developed changes come from real writing reviews—the long story ‘The Night the Chaebol Was Expelled, Gujing Gave Me the Prescription’ (Tomato Novel ongoing, by Xinghe Shangren) and multiple Tomato short stories are fully implemented: turning pitfalls encountered in practice back into the tool itself, instead of relying on manual memorization every time.

Self-developed Upgrade Checklist (Based on Practical Review and Accumulation)

• Typo Checking Prefix Gate: Added check-typos.js, which, after passing the independent Chinese main text language_gate.js, serves as the first text quality check before AI flavor/degradation/punctuation scripts—originating from a real missed check case (‘that money’ was miswritten as ‘that debt’ and was discovered by readers), with a high-confidence fixed collocation dictionary, and advisory level never automatically rewrites

• Practical Validation Theme Pack: Added two theme packs: 现实共鸣型 (Original Family Exploitation / Workplace PUA Counterattack / Bride Price Trap) and 悬疑脑洞型 (Death Game / Rules Horror Tale, including the Five-Step Creative Method and True Rules Principles) — covering the coverage gap after cross-verification of the Tomato Writer backend real popular story list and two rounds of independent viral works, and have been used in actual drafts

• Disambiguation of Reversal Rules: Rewritten as “One core reversal supports the framework, high-frequency small reversals as muscles” — using real viral text (about one small twist every 800-1500 words) corrects easily misinterpreted enforcement rules

• Phase 5 Rigid Quality Inspection Steps: Consistency checks and independent review without AI flavor have changed from “If deployed, spawn” have become mandatory items, no longer silently skipped in multiple consecutive chapters due to soft wording

• Chapter-by-chapter quality inspection progress chart: Added 追踪/质检进度.md, mechanically checking whether each chapter’s inspections have been completed, no need to search narrative logs for answers

• Dynamic positioning of the status column for foreshadowing: detect-story-gaps.sh No longer hardcoded column numbers; instead, runtime read headers dynamically locate the “status” column. Fixed false positives in three different table column sequences: protocol template, real project, and test fixture

• Conversation Density Deterministic Statistics: 'check-ai-patterns.
