Audit App

Standalone audit management application with administration and ComplyChat.

Structure

  • backend/ FastAPI backend (port 4100)
  • frontend/ Next.js frontend (use a separate dev port, e.g. 5100)

Backend setup

  1. Create a new database for this app.
  2. Set environment variables in audit-app/backend/.env:
    • DATABASE_URL=
    • SESSION_SECRET=
    • OPENAI_API_KEY or AI_INTEGRATIONS_OPENAI_API_KEY (optional)
  3. Run the backend:
    • cd audit-app/backend
    • python main.py

Frontend setup

  1. Install dependencies:
    • cd audit-app/frontend
    • npm install
  2. Run the frontend:
    • npm run dev – -p 5100

Notes

  • The frontend proxies /api/_ to http://127.0.0.1:4100/grc/_.
  • This app uses its own database and runs independently from the main platform.
