Codex Skill Pack is a portable set of reusable Codex skills for engineers, designers, and researchers who want consistent workflows for frontend delivery, UX planning, and structured research.

• skill-creator: Creates or upgrades skills with stronger structure, trigger rules, and workflow guidance.
• skill-installer: Installs skills from curated sources or GitHub paths into your Codex skills directory.
• deep-research: Runs structured multi-source research and produces evidence-backed conclusions.
• frontend-ux-ui: Designs and builds production-grade UI for Next.js + Tailwind + shadcn/ui + TypeScript.
• n8n-code-javascript: Guides JavaScript Code node implementation patterns in n8n.
• n8n-code-python: Guides Python Code node implementation patterns in n8n.
• n8n-expression-syntax: Validates and fixes n8n expression syntax and variable references.
• n8n-mcp-tools-expert: Helps choose and use n8n MCP tools effectively for build and validation workflows.
• n8n-node-configuration: Provides operation-aware node configuration guidance and required-field mapping.
• n8n-validation-expert: Interprets validation errors and maps them to concrete fixes.

Install

Option A: Copy into ~/.codex/skills

mkdir -p ~/.codex/skills
cp -R skills/* ~/.codex/skills/

Option B: Run installer script

bash install/install.sh

install/install.sh writes to ${CODEX_SKILLS_DIR:-$HOME/.codex/skills}. Set CODEX_SKILLS_DIR to override the destination.

Quick Install Command: CODEX_SKILLS_DIR="$HOME/.codex/skills" bash install/install.sh

How to use

Each skill includes three prompt styles: audit, plan-only, and implement.

skill-creator

• Audit prompt: “Use $skill-creator to audit our existing skills for Next.js + Tailwind + shadcn/ui + TypeScript workflows and flag overlap or missing safeguards.”
• Plan-only prompt: “Use $skill-creator to design a new research-to-implementation skill with trigger rules and checklist steps, but do not implement it.”
• Implement prompt: “Use $skill-creator to draft SKILL.md for a nextjs-release-readiness skill with verification gates for typecheck, tests, and build.”

skill-installer

• Audit prompt: “Use $skill-installer to assess reliability risks for installing this pack across macOS developer machines.”
• Plan-only prompt: “Use $skill-installer to propose a rollout plan for local and CI setup using CODEX_SKILLS_DIR.”
• Implement prompt: “Use $skill-installer to generate exact install and verification commands for all skills in this repo.”
