SkillSeed

SkillSeed is a meta-skill (skillseed) that scaffolds Agent Skills end-to-end. It’s more than a file generator — it’s a skill-writing coach that checks whether your skill will actually trigger, validates it against the format spec, and learns from every skill you create via a built-in experience log. Generated skills follow the open standard, so the same skill works in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and any compatible tool.
Why SkillSeed?
Most agents can already write a SKILL.md on their own. So SkillSeed earns its place by doing what raw generation doesn’t:
- Trigger validation — the #1 skill failure mode is “written fine, but the agent never auto-triggers it”. SkillSeed forces 6 boundary cases (3 should-trigger + 3 should-not-trigger) and tightens the description until they pass.
- Conformance self-check — no silent failures from name casing, oversized descriptions, references that chain-load each other, or 500+ line SKILL.md.
- Self-improving experience log — every skill you create appends a lesson to
lessons.md; next time, SkillSeed reads it first. The rules never drift; only the memory grows. - Cross-tool by default — one skill, many agents. Install the same skill to Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor with a single flag.
