NexAgent 是一个为现实世界长期使用的人工智能代理。

它不仅仅是一次性的CLI演示，也不是模型外面的薄提示封装器。NexAgent围绕一个更具体的目标构建：保持代理在线，将其置于你已有的聊天应用中，赋予它内存和工具，让它管理后台工作，并使其能够随着时间改进。

目前该项目有两个理念：

• 自我进化：不仅是提示工程，还包括记忆、技能、工具和源头层面的自我提升。
• Elixir/OTP：监督树、生成服务器、进程隔离和热代码加载，以实现容错、并发和长寿命运行。

NexAgent is an AI agent built for real-world, long-running use.

It is not just a one-shot CLI demo, and it is not just a thin prompt wrapper around a model. NexAgent is built around a more specific goal: keep an agent online, place it inside the chat apps you already use, give it memory and tools, let it manage background work, and make it capable of improving over time.

Two ideas define the project today:

• Self-evolution: not only prompt engineering, but also memory, skills, tools, and source-level self-improvement.
• Elixir/OTP: supervision trees, GenServers, process isolation, and hot code loading for fault tolerance, concurrency, and long-lived operation.
