Each server communicates with AI assistants via the MCP protocol using stdio (default) or SSE (HTTP) transport.

Servers

Server Description Tools
filesystem-mcp Read, write, and manage files in a restricted directory read_file, write_file, list_directory, etc.
github-mcp GitHub API integration get_repository, create_issue, search_repositories, etc.
http-client-mcp HTTP requests with retry & rate limiting http_get, http_post, download_file, etc.
postgres-mcp PostgreSQL database interaction execute_query, select_data, list_tables, etc.

Quick Start

# Install dependencies for a specific server
cd filesystem-mcp && npm install

# Development mode (stdio)
npm run dev

# Build for production
npm run build && npm start

Environment

Each server uses a .env file (copy from .env.example) with its own configuration. Common variables:

Variable Default Description
TRANSPORT stdio Transport mode: stdio or sse
PORT 3000 Port for SSE transport
