구성

프로젝트 디렉터리에 mcp.json를 생성하세요(또는 전역 설정은 ~/.claude/mcp.json):

mcpl list로 검증하세요. 서버가 보이지 않으면 터미널을 재시작하고 mcpl list --refresh를 실행하세요.

서버 추가

환경 변수는 ${VAR} 문법을 사용하며, ~/.claude/.env와 ./.env에서 로드됩니다.

설정 탐색

MCP Launchpad는 설정 파일을 다음과 같은 순서로 검색합니다:

1. ./mcp.json - 프로젝트 수준 구성
2. ./.claude/mcp.json - 프로젝트 수준의 Claude 설정
3. ~/.claude/mcp.json - 사용자 수준 구성

여러 설정 파일이 발견되면 mcpl이 어떤 파일을 사용할 것인지 선택하라고 안내합니다. 환경설정은 저장되어 있으며 나중에 [mcpl config files --select로 변경할 수 있습니다.

에이전트 통합

MCP 런치패드는 bash 명령을 실행할 수 있는 모든 AI 에이전트(Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf 등)와 함께 작동합니다.

루트 CLAUDE.md 내용을 자신의 CLAUDE.md 또는 AGENTS.md에 복사하여 에이전트에게 mcpl 사용법을 가르치세요.

MCP Launchpad

A lightweight CLI for discovering and executing tools from multiple MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.

Installation

Prerequisite: uv - Python package and environment manager

Validate with mcpl list. If you don’t see your servers, restart your terminal and run mcpl list --refresh.

Environment variables use ${VAR} syntax and are loaded from ~/.claude/.env and ./.env.

Config Discovery

MCP Launchpad searches for config files in this order:

1. ./mcp.json - Project-level config
2. ./.claude/mcp.json - Project-level Claude config
3. ~/.claude/mcp.json - User-level config

When multiple config files are found, mcpl prompts you to select which ones to use. Your preferences are saved and can be changed later with mcpl config files --select.

Agent Integration

MCP Launchpad works with any AI agent that can run bash commands (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.).

Copy the root CLAUDE.md contents into your own CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md to teach your agent how to use mcpl. This can be done at the project level (./CLAUDE.md) or user level (~/.claude/CLAUDE.md).
